The Gandhidham city has a Mahanagar Seva Sadan status. Gandhidham Municipality was converted into Gandhidham Mahanagar Seva Sadan on 15-09-2002. The area of Gandhidham Mahanagar Seva Sadan limit is 57.16 sq. Km. The city has been divided into 15 wards.
